An ancient Chinese martial art and health system, Tai Chi combines meditation and movement, making it a perfect activity to prevent or reduce the ills of modern life. The Tai Chi Sword uses the harmony between the principles of Yin and Yang and the ancient concepts of Chinese swordplay to develop agility, grace, focus and Chi (Qi).

Master Tang will guide you step-by-step through the Tai Chi 32 Sword Form and personally demonstrate the applications of the movements. You will learn to complete the entire routine and gain a greater insight into both the applications and the essential principles underlying Tai Chi.

Master Tang Lai Wei A foundation member of the famous Beijing Wushu Team which won 12 consecutive China National Wushu Championships, Master Tang started training at the age of seven. He won over 30 medals in China’s national wushu competitions, including Wushu’s highest award, the Wu Ying. Formerly a training partner of action star Jet Li, Master Tang now lives in Australia, holds a 7th Grade in Wushu and was recently awarded the Wushu Development Award by the Chinese Wushu Association.
